Dr. Nitin Sood is Senior Director of Medical Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant and Cancer Care at Medanta, Gurugram. He is an experienced haematologist specialising in blood and blood-related disorders including leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, amyloidosis, bone marrow/stem cell transplant, bleeding and clotting disorders, thalassaemia, sickle cell anaemia, aplastic anaemia, and haemophilia. He completed his MBBS from Mysore University (1998) and MD General Medicine from Delhi University. After senior residency at Safdarjang Hospital, he moved to the UK to train in Clinical Haematology, earning MRCP (UK), MRCPath (Associate Haematology), FRC (Pathology), and CCT (Haemato-Oncology). He has been part of various prestigious medical organisations in the UK and has received multiple awards in haematology and oncology.
